8270A High-Pressure Controller
The 8270A measures and controls pressures from vacuum to 44 MPa (6400 psi). It can be configured with ranges as low as 100 kPa (15 psi).
Fluke Calibration’s unique control technology enables you to use these calibrators at low or high pressures, all in the same instrument. Control precision is 0.002% of active range.
Flexible configuration options
The 8270A are modular system that can be configured with up to five measurement modules at the same time, so they can handle high pressure, low pressure, and everything in between. Three families of modules provide three levels of performance that let you set up a system matching your needs for accuracy and value.
Safety is the top priority in the design and manufacture of our pressure products, especially high-pressure pneumatic controllers. The 8270A meet all appropriate safety standards. Each unit is equipped with over-pressure protection as well as a frontpanel abort button. Pressing the abort button vents the test pressure and returns the unit to a safe condition. Additionally, an abort valve accessory allows for faster, directed vent, as well as automated venting at loss of power. High-pressure gas does have more stored energy than high-pressure oil, but it is a safe option under the right conditions. By using the 8270A with the available accessories, you have safe operation with a clean pressure media.
Calibrate without risk of contamination
The 8270A coupled with the optional CPS, can calibrate both gas-filled and liquid-filled devices without concern of contamination. With its wide pressure range coverage, one controller can accomplish the task that used to require two separate standards.
Easiest to use high-pressure standards available
Automated pressure controllers are some of the simplest, easiest-to-use pressure standards. Controlling and measuring pressure is as simple as typing in the required pressure and pressing Enter. Unlike deadweight testers, you do not need to spin weights at a particu...

PG7202 High Pressure Gas/Hydraulic Piston Gauge
The piston gauge’s fundamental operating principle and excellent long term stability have made it an indispensable tool in high accuracy pressure metrology. As accuracy levels increase, quality assurance requirements intensify and automation spreads through the workplace, the piston gauge must evolve to continue to fill its essential role in the measurement system. PG7000, the first truly new, high end piston gauge introduced since the late 1970s, responds to this challenge.
PG7000 development was undertaken with four main inter-related design objectives:
• Deliver real improvements in fundamental metrological performance to assure that today’s and tomorrow’s ever increasing accuracy requirements can be supported.
• Integrate automated monitoring of environmental and instrument operating conditions with extensive on-board intelligence to provide a modern stand alone instrument that outputs fully validated reference pressures, real time, through an intuitive operator interface.
• Reduce and when possible eliminate the influence of the operator on measurements to assure more consistent performance.
• Improve piston gauge ergonomics for greater operator satisfaction and increased productivity.
The PG7000 design objectives were pursued with the refinement of existing techniques, innovative new design, process improvements and the thorough application of today's digital and information processing technologies. The result is a coherent line of piston gauges that sets a new standard for both performance and usability, redefining the state of the art in high end pressure metrology.
PG7202 is a member of the PG7000 family of reference level piston gauges that covers the range of high pressure gas up to 110 MPa (16 000 psi).
