P3000 Pneumatic Deadweight Testers

The P3000 Series is the culmination of over 50 years of experience in the production and design of high performance pressure standards. With features designed to improve accuracy and performance, increase reliability and simplify operation these deadweight testers can be used to calibrate virtually any pressure sensing device, including transducers, transmitters, gauges or pressure switches. Each instrument is supplied with a detachable lid that makes it neat, compact and easily portable. The weight masses are stored in a high-quality case with a self-locking mechanism to protect them during transit. All units are provided with an ISO 17025 accredited calibration certificate, operating fluid (where applicable), spare seals, adaptors for 1/8, ¼, 3/8, ½ NPT and BSP, and metric adaptors (M20 and M14). The piston/cylinder assemblies are manufactured to the very highest standards with certified accuracies trace-able to international standards laboratories such as the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). P3000 Series Vacuum and Dual Vacuum/Pressure Models The combined vacuum/pressure models are extremely versatile instruments providing vacuum through 500 psi (35 bar) capacity in one unit. For added expansion, an additional low range piston/weight set can be provided for pressures to 800 inH2O (2 000 mbar). An optional built-in hand pump can be installed to generate vacuum (90%) through 300 psi. P3000 Series Liquid Lubricated Gas Operated Models The Models P3031 and P3032 feature an oil lubricated piston/cylinder assembly, which ensures that the instrument is less susceptible to performance issues caused by contamination of the gas supply or the environment in which the unit is being operated. The supply gas, via the deadweight tester controls, is introduced into the piston/cylinder chamber. 2465A Gas Piston Gauge

The Model 2465 Gas Piston Gauge has a long history of serving national standards laboratories, commercial industry and government organizations as a primary pressure standard for over 40 years. Since its original introduction, enhancements have been made to increase performance and reduce operator workload. The autofloat controller configuration is a recent example of Fluke Calibration’s commitment to provide an easy to use, high performance, primary standard to the pressure calibration and metrology community. The Model 2465 provides the capability of generating pressures to within a total expanded uncertainty of 10 parts per million to 0.7 MPa and 26 parts per million to 7 MPa. The Model 2465 is available in a variety of configurations to meet individual requirements. The three basic components of the Model 2465 are the Instrument Base, one or more Piston/Cylinder Assemblies, and a single Mass Set. The Autofloat Controller can be added to minimize operator workload and skill requirements, or select the Manual Pressure Control Pack. Last, decide which accessories and options will be required. Instrument base The instrument base is designed with functionality, economy and space conservation in mind. All electronic components are housed away from the instrument base to eliminate errors caused by thermal effects and magnetic fields. The thermally isolated motor drive is connected to the cylinder—eliminating pressure fluctuations and maximizing productivity. A durable, acrylic bell jar is provided to allow absolute and vacuum modes of operation. A KF16 fitting is provided to simplify installation and allow low reference pressures. E-DWT 6531/6532 Electronic Deadweight Tester

The E-DWT-H is used in the lab or instrument shop or can be taken into the field for performing in-situ calibrations and tests. This hydraulic pressure calibration system combines a high performance electronic reference pressure monitor and manually operated pressure generation and control hardware in a single, compact and rugged package. E-DWT-H offers the ease of use and precision of continuous, real time electronic pressure measurement with the simple and direct pressure control of high quality manual pressure hardware. E-DWT is named “electronic deadweight tester” because it is intended as a lightweight and easy to use, modern alternative to conventional piston-cylinder and weight based deadweight testers. The E-DWT’s electronic reference pressure monitor is a special version of RPM4, designated RPM4-E-DWT. RPM4-E-DWT can be configured with one or two high precision quartz reference pressure transducers (Q-RPTs) with ranges from 7 MPa (1 000 psi) to 200 MPa (30 000 psi). The RPM4-E-DWT is controlled locally by the operator using its front panel display, keypad and optional foot pedal or remotely by a computer using ASCII character command strings over its RS-232 interface. RPM4-E-DWT uses an AutoRange feature to automatically select the most appropriate Q-RPT and to optimize the E-DWT-H setup to cover the desired range of operation. When two Q-RPTs are included, a half-turn valve isolates and protects the Lo Q-RPT from high pressure when the Hi Q-RPT is in use. Visual and audible indicators assist the operator in setting the shut off valve correctly. The E-DWT-H includes the hardware necessary to fill and prime the system under test and generate and precisely adjust pressure up to 200 MPa (30 000 psi). Operating principle Deadweight testers are the primary standard for pressure measurement. Utilizing the well proven piston-gauge system consisting of a vertically mounted, precision lapped piston and cylinder assembly, accurately calibrated weight masses (Force) are loaded on the piston (Area), which rises freely within its cylinder. These weights balance the upward force created by the pressure within the system. The pressure is measured when placed on a correctly spinning and floating piston. The total pressure measured is the summation of the weights plus the piston weight carrier assembly. Instrument base There are three basic variations in the hydraulic offering; single low pressure, single high pressure and dual piston models. Pressure is generated and controlled by means of a high quality screw press located on the front of the tester. 3130 Portable Pressure Calibrator

The 3130 Portable Pneumatic Pressure Calibrator is ideal for calibrating pressure transmitters, transducers, gauges and similar devices. The 3130 contains everything you need to generate, control and measure pressure, as well as read the output of the device under test (DUT). Pressure generation and control The internal, motorized pump provides an easy, efficient alternative to time consuming, tiring hand pumps. For applications that involve filling a large volume with pressure, the 3130 allows for connection to an external gas supply such as compressed plant air. The pressure can be fine-tuned using the variable volume. Pressure measurement The 3130 features an onboard pressure sensor with a full scale of 2 MPa (300 psi, 20 bar) and an accuracy of ± 0.025% reading + 0.01% FS (includes precision, one-year stability, uncertainty of the calibration standard, and temperature effects). In addition, the 3130 can be used with the Fluke 700P or 750P pressure module series to improve measurement performance across the entire range.
